A Steep Climb
The Great Wall undulates from peak to peak. Some of the walkways are quite steep. This was one of the steeper ones we climbed.
Our guide joked that the wall was built by two brothers, one with very short legs and long feet and the other with stubby feet but very long legs. As a result, some steps are three feet high with hardly a ledge for your feet while others are three feet wide with a three inch rise. It makes the walk more challenging.
