Walter's Eightieth Birthday - Part 1!
It's Walter's birthday! The Big 80. Even though we have a big barn party planned for September, Dana thought he should have some recognition on his actually birthday. The whole family, including the Fongstons, Terri, and us, drove out to Woodward for a meal at Big Dan's.
Martha had an area reserved in the restaurant and put together some lovely cookies for the occasion. Brian, Cindy, Adam, and Jordan came by, along with Jordan's girlfriend. It was a nice meal with good company.
Afterwards, we drove with the Fongs for a quick trip to Alabaster Caverns. It was pretty hot weather, but it was very nice in the cave, despite the muddy cave floors.
