Martha's Vineyard Tuesday

We started our day with it cold and windy, but with the promise that the weather might remain dry.

We loaded up our bikes and our luggage and headed out for Falmouth to catch the ferry to Vineyard Haven.

Falmouth had a very cool coffee and pastry shop where we grabbed some tea to try to warm up a bit. It looked like they had a really good blackberry pie, but I didn’t feel like I had time to really give it it’s due. Instead, we introduced the Campbells to the concept of the pop-over. They seemed intrigued.

The ride on the ferry to Vineyard Haven took about 45 minutes. It was windy, but we saw signs that the sun might try to get through. The views were beautiful, albeit cold.
